MEXICO DAY 6

As you can see we have the beach to ourselves again .We walked down here for our exercise, sat around for awhile, swam and took taxi home. Had some lunch and Marvin fell asleep. Then the doorbell rang, now that is a surprise. There was a guy there but except for the fact that he showed me his label on his shirt I knew he worked here but the only thing I understood was Louis, so he gave up and left. Well Louis is the name of the taxi driver we hired to pick up Jer & Jody on Saturday. I woke Marv up and said I think our taxi driver is at the gate. So he went there and sure enough Louis is standing behind the gate,, yelling hey marv, its Louis come out and meet my friends lol. So out Marvin goes to the street and meets two more guys. They are writing on a sign leaning over their Nissan truck. Turns out one is his uncle. Seems like every taxi driver here has an uncle that has a a/c van for touring. So it is arranged that they will get picked up in that instead of this beat-up pickup truck. Also with them is another guy and he has a mother who owns a restaurant   (another thing seems everyone has a mother that owns a restaurant) At any rate this guy is a spear fisherman and catches the fish for the restaurant. They say just phone us we will pick you up and take you to the best restaurant where all the Mexicans eat. Ok back to the story why these guys are here leaning over the hood of their truck. Seems when the Uncle heard that Louis needed a sign to hold up at the airport he said we can't just put Enger on it. We need to do a better job than that. Louis was insisting that it was right he had written it down,. Nope the Uncle says we have to go find Marv and so they did. I have been told the sign is large and lime green and says Welcome to Hunaluco Jer and Jody I was laughing so hard when \Marv was telling me the story I wish I had a camera. lol
The rest of the day was spent swimming in the pool.
I decided to cook sausages for dinner but as soon as I put them in the pan the casing on them disappeared and even though I was cooking them on the lowest heat, a red type sauce was flying out everywhere. My t-shirt is stained I had to wash the floor. I gave up. We had left over steak instead.
