OREGON COAST HERE WE GO

Heading for the Oregon Coast, first stop will be in about 4 hours in Chehalis, Washington. If you follow this blog you might recognize this pass,, except no rain for a change :)
Well we arrived without incident but we were so tired, camp ground of course full of kids and dogs , bit US holiday weekend. It rained last night. Neither of us is very happy we are so darn tired, Marv says , not sure about this camping, i prefer the little jaunts we have been taking. Maybe we should sell truck, 5th wheel. I said lets sleep on it. lol  So he did on our nice new feather bed,, me not so much the snoring was unreal. My injured tailbone and neck were hurting so I ended up on the darn couch. When Marvin got up this morning he was all chipper until he looked at me,, sitting on my rubber donut, heating pad on my neck and scowl on my face. He did want every husband in his right mind would do,,, grabbed a coffee and went for a walk lol,, when he got back breakfast was on the table and he said we better get out of here, before the exit gets back logged.. So dishes still in the sink off we went. Our first goal was to get across the Columbia River without ending up on some weird little roads....
We did it and now the GPS has become our new best friend
We are not in Oregon and the scenery is awesome. I am not sure if these photos do it justice I am working on a little netbook and its hard to tell how good they are.

We arrived at Thousand Trails camp site around noon,, lots of rigs leaving its now Monday. As we drove around looking for a site, very few have views here. another camper stopped us and pointed to a spot across from them and said it was best spot on the camp ground, so we snagged it.  They left to go home and we went for a walk ,, just a bit up the road we found "the best spot" we moved to it. The view is wonderful, site large and we are happy.

We had a nice steak dinner and now its sunset time
Marvin much happier, he is outside cleaning windows so we can see better,, truck is not for sale lol
