Well that sleep was not a good one. I kept dreaming about snakes.
Why? Because I saw one yesterday. It was masquerading as a vine but it didn't fool me lol. My mom used to tell people if there is a snake within 100 feet of Linda she will spot it lol. 100 feet might be a bit much but mom's are known to exaggerate their children's skills :)
So we got down that hill quicker than planned - or at least I did. I had to wait under a shade tree for Marvin. We went to the beach.
The weather is cooler this past little while and I like it better you can walk around more without getting so darn hot within minutes.
We had a nice lunch (Karen at the place where you like the shrimp cocktail). We had a shrimp salad which we ordered in Spanish. Oddly enough the only person we ran into today that spoke any English was Vinnie (our boat driver). The people selling things to tourists walked right by us. They went to other people around us but not to us, even the peanut lady ignored us. We appear to be invisible except to Taxi drivers.
We poked around the tourist shops, pricing are higher than when we first arrived and most places are not bartering. In fact I looked at this one item for 100 pesos and asked how many for 2. She said 220 pesos. I had her write the number out to be sure that is what she meant. So we went to moved on.
The construction stopped at 6. Its nice when you can count on that to happen. Well the poor roof guy stayed on for awhile and someone was installing windows but they were not making any noise.
I contacted the fellow to take us back to the airport and booked our ride :(
