MEXICO DAY 30

I usually do my blog post the following morning but they closed the pool for cleaning and its too early for Happy Hour I decided to do it now. Its hot on the balcony in the late afternoon but only for a short time and they are grinding away out there anyways. I am in the living room with large fans blowing down on me


So when I woke up this morning Marv had coffee made, that was a nice treat.


We were a little later than usually walking down the hill which was a good thing because turns our there was a nasty accident on the main road right where we walk.I don't think I would have wanted to witness it or be part of it. We heard sirens and saw people running around. The sirens are a fairly common sound this year (not at all last year). People running is something you don't see very often. There ended up being two ambulances and the fire truck.  Eventually when we did go that way we saw a truck taking a new little black car away looks like it was opened with a can open the top was peeled right back to the trunk. There was glass everywhere and a tree was damaged. There were four men with grim faces taking photos of the road, not that I could see what they thought was important. I have tried to find a source for local news but I have never been able to come up with one. So it will remain a mystery as to what happened.


Yesterday we watched another accident on the same road and women was taken away on a stretcher.


Anyhow we walked to the beach, it was a nice walk not too hot and a nice breeze. It  was my turn to decide what to do today and this is what I chose.

 Its quite a private beech down near the gas station. We walked by the fishermen and they offered to sell us some tuna, they had alot of fillets cut up. But I am spoilt now the only way I want tuna is cooked in an open flame by someone else lol

 We shared this for lunch. The menu is all in Spanish and there were no pictures. The waiter did not speak one word of English. I  was happy I managed to order shrimp and not octopus lol . We drank beer and relaxed. I actually had 3 beer. I don't recall ever having 3 beer lol but I guess 3 in 3 hours is not so out standing. The bill for the 6 beer and shrimp plate came to about 24 dollars including tip, oh and 1.60 for taxi ride home :)

This is a photo of one of many abandoned condo projects. It has a beautiful view and there is a nice walk way to the look out centre. Not sure what the story is about it.
