MEXICO DAY 24

Today was a mixed bag. We went to Super Che to get money and supplies. The machine would not give us any money. It kept rejecting our bank card fortunately the visa worked and we were able to stock up.


We ran into Joanie and Dwight while in there and they gave us a ride back to the condo. 


We spent the afternoon by the pool. Dwight and Joanie were there too and we had a nice visit then she had to go pack to go home :(


We got in the pool for our last swim just prior to the invasion of the next door neighbours. 


So except for the money issue it was a real good day. It was after supper that things went down hill. The guy below us who has either been missing in action or keeping a low profile surfaced. At first it was quite music but then as more people arrived the music got cranked up...... and then  it was hard to believe this but someone in the building started to drill and hammer.  I don't know what they were doing but it sure would have been nice if they had done it during the day when all the other drilling and grinding is going on and not wait until that has shut down for the day. I think it was the idiots beside us but I don't know for sure. 


Our tolerance for noise is at an all time low with the daily construction, they are not even taking Sunday's or holidays off and they don't all have their siestas at the same time.


So this is how our evening ended. We finally gave up called it a night. We closed the windows, turned on the a/c and put in our ear plugs so that we could sleep.

We were saying we have to not let the noise get to us, we love it here and we know to treasure the quiet times but do the noisy times have to be so extreme.
