MEXICO DAY 8

As you can see Jer, Jody and Dakota arrived safe and tired.They left vancouver after work on Friday, caught a midnight flight to Houston, 6 hour lay over and arrived mid afternoon on Saturday.  Well it seems nothing goes without a hitch for us.  Marv goes down to the gate at the approximate time of their arrival to let them in. I stay inside by the phone in case there is a problem. About half hour later Marv comes back no sign of them. So he calls Louis who says no problem Marv I am on my way. Marv freaks out the plane has already arrived. Louis says I am a minute away. So Marv says they are almost here so back to the gate he goes. Another half hour goes by and he is back. He calls Louis again, Louis says its ok Marv I see peoples coming out I just don't see them yet, I will call you.  So we are thinking why are we off on our timing. I check the flight arrival time and the clock. Then google Mexican time and realize all the clocks are off by an hour, time change happened while we were here lol.

So they have been following the blog and know about the sign and they are in their line up to get out and can see Louis bouncing around out there with a sign about 4 times bigger than everyone else. So finally they get out and Jody goes up to him and he says,,, Jody , yes,  ... i am friends of Marv and Linda you are safe come with me. Do you know them?. Yes, they are our family,,, oh you are their family,, i am their family too,, we are all family now.

So back to the construction zone.

Photography sites tell you to use what is around to frame your photos, I doubt if they meant a pumper truck arm lol. It was busy down there with cement mixers ect but the good news is they could not get the compressor running so they could not run the rock drill. And the better news is before our company arrived they had loaded up and left. So it was peaceful last night and will be again today not sure when they come back.

I d on't know if I have commented on how nice this condo is. Definitely first class.
This is the hall that leads to the two guest room, each room with a full bathroom and lots of cupboards , tv and books.

Oh remember how proud I was of the black beans I made,, well we had some last night again and I bit into a stone,,, then Jer did the same thing. These beans came in a sealed bag manufactured bag just like you would buy at home. How odd eh!
