MEXICO DAY 14

Wow we arrived 2 weeks ago today. Where has the time gone?
Good news they brought in a muffler for the compressor so all morning the compressor was being worked on and we delayed going to the beach since it was so nice here. Just as we headed out it started up again but its quieter thats for sure. Our next thing on the wish list is that the rock drilling ends. Okay enough about that stuff.

We went to a beach that we had spent time at before with Louis who when I looked at his card is not named Louis but Jose Luis. lol.  Wow I know why people like those out of the way beaches. There must have been 50 guys trying to get us to sit at their table, go on their boat ect.  We had a plan to go to the table and fellow we had met before and stuck to it. They are very nice and its not intimidating at all. We understand that this is how they make a living and all they want is your business and give really good service and value. We sure have no complaints. There were jelly fish in the water but jer and Dakota went snorkeling anyways and Dakota got stung a few times but said it didnt really hurt and pain went away instantly.

Poor Jody is suffering, we are getting bitten and she reacts badly to the bites. I do too but I take an anti histamine when I can't stand it plus with the fuel smell (that only my nose is affected by and my allergies) I have to take them anyhow. Her medication does not allow her to have them.

So last week they arrived on my birthday and in my card they wrote they would take me out for lobster. We started pricing it and its so expensive. The other day we found a place that was more reasonable (but still high) and we went Marvin and I had decided to share mine. Which we did. They gave us two  rounds of free margaritas. Also put insect repellent on our table to choose from if we wished.

After we finished our meal the music changed to Happy Birthday to you and these rather reserved waiters put on sombreros and crazy aprons started blowing noise makers and dancing around singing. A bunch of people had just got out of their cab and there was alot of attention on me lol. They gave me a shooter which he makes me drink. I have seen them do that with the young gals they were much easier on this old lady lol
Then they asked for a hug and it was a circle of them going around,, at least 3 times same guys. Naturally it was alot of fun and of course I got a piece of cake.

We walked around a bit afterwards, we feel very safe here and there are taxis everywhere. On the drive back suddenly we stopped for nothing, well thought it was nothing but it was a huge snake on the road. If I have the translation correct it was a boa constrictor. Soooo if they are on the highways, they are definitely in that jungle we walked through to the beach. Good thing I took photos of that beach lol.

We returned to the condo, it was their last night here. They had some shooter poppers but I declined. There was quite a bit of stuff going on in the bay or the hotels we could not see anything but we could hear the music and laughter. It was very enjoyable.
