ON THE ROAD AGAIN

First day of approximately a 70 day trip. We are going to try our hand at being snowbirds. My plan was to get up at 6 this morning which should not have been difficult considering I often have trouble making myself stay in bed until then. But as luck would have it I slept till 7:30. So instead of being at the border at 9, we were there at 10:30. Customs asked us the usual questions, do we have meat, fresh fruit or vegetables and of course fire wood. No to all the above then the agriculture inspector wanted to do his thing. So,he looks in the fridge. Now would anyone who just lied to the customs officer hide their fresh veggies in the fridge.?

It was an amazing beautiful sunny day, snow capped mountains beautiful ocean and to top it off we found a much coveted water site. Too bad we had to unhook the rig and go shopping. By the time we got back it was getting cooler. We did have hotdogs by the fire though. I went to the family centre and to the "quiet room" only to discover there were at least 15 little kids running around. One dad was chasing them around the room all screaming and yelling. Trust me they all got their share of dirty looks from me but my head could not take any more and I left. I don't have a connection here so don't know when this will actually be posted
