Mexico Day 1

Oops look who jumped into the suitcase, it missed flight home to Toronto guess he was determined not to miss this flight too :)

So we left Thursday and arrived in Hualtulco Saturday via Seattle and Houston. Air Canada is suppose to fly here next year but don't know if we will be coming.

All went well until we got on the last leg of the trip and the stew says you have to fill out declaration forms but I only have Spanish ones. Wow, OK lets try and we did pretty good and were congratulating ourselves on a job well done until we got to customs and the agent ripped it up, tossed it in the garbage and said do it over in English. So I did and my first thought was wow in the English form they ask all different questions that the Spanish one, lol, I did not even clue it why for several hours.
Our driver picked us up and brought to this condo, oh my its like a place movie stars would live in. The front door opens up into a living room that opens up on to the patio (I know they call that something else here but I can't recall what) The photos I had seen did not do it justice nor does this one.

I was so relieved some of you reading this know the drama I went through first with the owner trying to get a contract so that I could buy insurance and then with Marvin who suddenly did not want to go and was making things miserable for me. Now look at him
Happy as a clam !!
So off the patio where you saw Marvin there are steps leading into private swimming pool. It felt so refreshing I even got in before I checked to see if I had internet access (what happened to my priorities )

The driver and the guy who met us to show us around says you dont have to worry about gritters coming in because we spray, yea I know they sprayed at condo last year and we had a scorpion in our place. So I am not so trusting on that. They also said you don't have to shut the door at night only if its windy,,, i looked at them like they were nuts,, they said who will break in, no one can get into the area its all gated and further more you are the only people in the whole complex - so its just us and the guard . Needless to say we shut the doors and locked them.
There are 3 bedrooms, one on the main floor  and two separate suites up stairs that you go outside to get to. One over looks the ocean and has a nice patio. We went up there to see a better view of the harbour. Since the sliding screen door does not lock and its ground floor we decided to sleep upstairs.. So finally after a very long day we got into bed only to find out there were no sheets on it...who cares we slept there anyways lol
