It is starting to get warmer again. We escaped the noise here again and headed for the beach. Shared a lunch of grilled shrimps they sure are yummy. I think this is a condo built by the same person as the other condo we went to look at a few weeks ago. It has a nice veiw probably not as good as ours but it would be quieter I imagine. The condos to the left in the photo are abandoned. There are many such buildings around this area. Something about government rules changing or something like that.
We grabbed a cab home and I climbed in and said the usual, Hola! The guy turns around and says Hi, how's it going, in such perfect English my jaw must have dropped. He laughed and said not too much English spoken around here is there? I asked how he learned it so well, turns out he worked in the States. He said he likes it here better. He says we don't make much money but we are happier.
He went on to say the it was his lucky day,, he picked up 4 Canadians at Secrets hotel and took them to Santa Cruz and then there you were and I got another trip . I am not sure the rate from Secrets but I would say the max he got for the 2 trips would be 100 pesos which in Canadian is 7.50. Now he would not keep the 7.50 he would have to pay for taxi/gas. But it was a lucky day for him.
