MEXICO DAY 8

Today is my birthday.
This is also the first Margarita that I have had since we arrived.

We caught a cab and went to Maguey Bay, we had not been to this bay before.

Its a nice beach and lots of boat activity but the water was colder than at our beach.

We had a couple of drinks and shrimp for lunch. Dennis and Karen's birthday treat for my birthday,, Thanks Guys.
The vendor guys got us, but not too bad lol
A hammock for marvin for 200 pesos (about 17 bucks) and a bag for me about 7.00 bucks and peanuts, not shown, we ate them so quickly. Boy they were so good.

Then the fog rolled in. It would come in and go out again, it was very different. At one point we could hear the big catamaran  come in but could not see it until the last minute
We realized we had not seen alot of cabs around there like we are used to. When it was time to leave we asked the waitress, she took us up to the parking lot, which we thought was odd. When we got there she argued for several minutes with several of the cabs parked there until one gave in and took us home. He went like a bat out of hell, I am assuming they were waiting for other customers who had previously booked them. Our guy probably was trying to get us to our place and get back in time for his passengers.

We had put steak and veggies in the new slow cooker and when we came home dinner was almost ready. It worked well and man were we exhausted.
We finished the day off with a chocolate muffin for 4 and Happy Birthday for one :)
It was a great birthday, thanks again.
Oh someone sent me a nice message on my blog re my birthday which I appreciate but I have no idea who sent it. :(
