MEXICO DAY 20

This is how Marv spent Siesta time, he fits right in. There is a big fan out there and two in the living room that really keep the air moving and its like a warm breeze. We sleep with the fan on and the door open - its like sleeping outside. I am noticing that the days are getting shorter. Its dark about 6 I think and the lights in the harbour are still on a 6 in the morning.

Before his nap we grabbed a cab and went to a Casa Pepe, its a hardware store. The taxi driver was funny he took us there and then pointed to it. He said, do you speak Spanish,, no, well do you want me to wait, do you want me to take you somewhere else. I am thinking he might have thought that we were looking for a  a restaurant.  Why would tourists want a hardware store lol, well we were looking for weather stripping but the stuff that they had was not really suitable.

We walked a couple of  blocks and bought our veggies for the week.  Look at the size of the radishes and they are so yummy. They have become our latest snack food. We found that shopping for them on Friday is a good plan, the trucks are unloading at 10:30 and the stuff is very fresh. The broccoli is so good you don't need to add anything but a little salt. It melts in your mouth just like when we pick it fresh from our garden.

The days really do flutter by, we arrived 3 weeks ago today.
