MEXICO DAY 12

Same cruise ship different day. At the other condo we used to love when the ships came in but now they are right out in front of us and Marv calls them smelly old boats lol  When it pulled out we heard the captain giving them warning of high seas and to stay inside when it starts and keep doors shut. Glad it was not like that when we did that cruise, they are heading for the Panama  Canal and I think there is a tropical storm out there somewhere called Rosa.

Another creepy crawler, not so clear because I was standing behind locked sliding glass door . Don't let the size of the pot make you thing that spider was small its just that the pots down here are huge. When we went to Super Che the admistrator came out of her office to say hello . I told her about the spider its about 5" x 5" . She said yes its the rainy season, but this response was not what I wanted to hear and I guess she saw the look on my face. She said one day when you go away we will spray. I said name the day and I am gone lol, So when we came back from Super Che she said Monday they will be here and spray all the vegetation and inside our condo. Its scary because the opening to this condo is huge. I am used to keeping screen doors shut when in these type of climates but there is no screen door for this area.

So Super Che there is always a  story when we go there. I was buying tomatoes and a lady poked me and said something and pointed. I looked but decided the poke was just an accident and she was talking to someone else. I went back to digging around for good tomatoes. ( the first year we were here a lady actually slapped my hand when I was buying tomatoes,, and shook her head at me,, then she picked the tomatoes for my bag when I went to add to it,, she slapped my hand again and indicated that's all I should buy, I realized later they do not last very long ) So I tend to choose the best tomatoes I can find but this lady poked me again and pointed to another part of the store where there were huge bins of tomatoes, onions  peppers and pineapples. So I went to go there, but not before she took my tomatoes from me lol lol,, I thanked her with my wonderful handle of the language lol and she was happy. I went to the bins which were surrounded with people and chose my veggies. I have never seen people buy so many shopping bags full of tomatoes and peppers I can only presume it was a good deal. They were very excited about the pineapples.

Oh saw a white guy today we were so surprised to see each other.

We had a bit of rain today, first time I have seen rain in this place in all the days we have spent down here. It did not last long and it was not hard like a typical tropical rain.
