This is where I am sitting now in the Family Centre
I wanted to see what was near by before we started running all over the place. This is a couple of miles away in Pacific City
Then one great view led to another and we continued along the coast. The following are just a small sample of the great views. The weather was sunny and the tide was out.
We stopped at Mo's for clam chowder,, the place must be crazy busy in the summer, we had our own table but its the kindof set up where you just grab the first chair you can find. The food is instantly in front of you. We had ordered a beer to enjoy while looking at the ocean but we should not have bothered since it all arrived at once. But so good , I bought the chowder base to bring home and make my own, well guess not my own since I only add milk and heat lol
This is called the Devil's punch bowl and I would like to come back when the tide is in and its windy. I remember it when we were here 25 years ago. I don't recognize much else its been changed alot and is all set up for tourists. We were reflecting on how much has happened in our lives in 25 years. Take a moment when you have time to think on the people and perhaps pets that came into your life and remember the ones that left. The good times and the struggles.
Well if the weather changed and we decided to come home I would have seen what was on the top of my list.:) But it has not changed its still a fine day. The only issue right now is my peace and quiet has been interrupted by a family with little kids that think this is a good place to eat their breakfast cereal lol
